The Infinity remote engine throttle uses optical technology with a two channel infrared encoder to determine the position and direction of movement of the throttle control knob. The heavy-duty throttle control knob has no mechanical components to wear out and is easy to operate with a gloved hand. The Infinity is the next generation of remote engine throttles.

This next generation of electronic engine throttle eliminates the potentiometer and electro-mechanical switches used in conventional throttles, replacing them with optical technology.

Throttlexcel

The ThrottleXcel is a combination engine throttle, display and monitoring system all in one, thereby taking up less panel space. Use of the built in FRC Infinity remote throttle incorporates the next generation of engine throttles.  It features colour-coded, ultra bright LED displays for oil pressure, coolant temperature and battery voltage.  The ThrottleXcel records engine warnings, pump hours, engine hours and incident hours so that the operator knows and can retrieve the exact time and date of occurrences and engine history.  Audible and visual warnings are given in real time so that the operator knows immediately if problems occur.  The microprocessor control is compatible for most engines.
